A sunset is a breathtaking spectacle where the sky transforms into a vivid canvas of colors as the sun dips below the horizon. The transition begins with a golden glow that gradually intensifies, casting a warm, amber light over the landscape. The fading light brings a cooler palette, with purples and blues becoming more prominent until the sky finally darkens, leaving behind a twilight glow. The sunset is a fleeting moment of natural beauty that inspires awe and reflection, a daily reminder of the earth's rotation and the cyclical nature of time.

 

This small collection of handwoven textile art pieces are created using textured merino wool, cotton and mohair in gorgeous rich orange, caramel, blue, natural and purple colours. Each piece is one of kind and handwoven by Charlotte in our Margate studio.
